ISLAMABAD: In their May Day messages, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain paid tribute to the sacrifice and contributions of workers in Pakistan and the world over.
President Mamnoon Hussain also claimed that the government was undertaking projects that would enhance the welfare and the standard of living of workers.
He said that the government was cognisant of the struggle of Pakistani workers abroad, and was doing all it could to improve their plight.
The Prime Minister, moreover, said that the government was doing all it could in collaboration with the provincial governments to better the lives of Pakistan’s workers.
