The Capital Development Authority (CDA) as a part of drive against encroachments continued operations against illegal constructions across the federal capital on Monday.
The CDA’s Enforcement Directorate with the assistance of Islamabad Administration and Islamabad Police and other concerned formation carried out several anti-encroachment operations and removed encroachments and construction from different areas of the city.
While conducting operation in sector G-7/2, the Enforcement Directorate demolished illegally constructed boundary wall in street 53 while encroachments from the surroundings of government accommodations adjacent to Khadda Market, G-7/4 were also demolished.
Similarly, during another action Enforcement Directorate demolished 03 illegally constructed rooms on a plot allocated for Telecom Foundation in Sector I-9 Industrial Area while notices were served to demolish remaining 02 rooms within a one day failing which action would be taken.
Furthermore, during another activity, building material depots established between street 23 and 27 of sector I-10/4 were also removed.
Similarly, teams of Enforcement Directorate also stopped the construction work on 03 under construction plazas in Jinnah Garden Society. During another operation staff of Enforcement Directorate also removed three construction material depots established outside of Sawan Garden Society while encroachments on plot No.264 of Humak Model Town were also removed.
