The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) on Thursday released 205,600 cusecs of water from various rim stations with inflow of 145,400 cusecs. According to data released by the IRSA, water level in the Indus River at Tarbela Dam was 1414.60 feet, which was 28.60 feet higher than its dead level of 1,386 feet. Water inflow in the dam was recorded to be 36,900 cusecs, while outflow was 70,000 cusecs. The water level in the Jhelum River at Mangla Dam was 1164.95 feet, which was 124.95 feet higher than its dead level of 1,040 feet, whereas the inflow and outflow of water was recorded to be 42,900 cusecs and 70,000 cusecs, respectively. The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa and Sukkur was recorded at 85,500, 76,600 and 22,600 cusecs, respectively. Similarly, from the Kabul River, 41,000 cusecs of water was released at Nowshera and 4,000 cusecs from the Chenab River at Marala.
